Se llev?? a cabo la 52?? edici??n de los premios anuales de la Sociedad de Sonido de Cine (CAS) en el Millennium Biltmore Hotel en Los ??ngeles.
Para el premio de la Academia en la mezcla de sonido, los nominados eran El renacido, Puente de esp??as, Mad Max, Star Wars y Misi??n rescate, siendo la ganadora la pel??cula de I????rritu.
Garry Marshall y el ex presidente de los CAS, David Fleur, presentaron el Premio a la Trayectoria a Doc Kane, cuatro veces nominado al Oscar por La Bella y la Bestia, Aladdin, Los Incre??bles y Ratatouille (quien cuenta con m??s de 350 cr??ditos en pel??culas, incluyendo muchos t??tulos de Disney y Pixar).
